Torrevieja.
Torrevieja is a coastal city in the south of the province of Alicante. Within the district of Vega Baja. Its municipal borders to the north Guardamar del Segura, Rojales and west Benijófar, southwest Montesinos and San Miguel de Salinas and south to the beaches of Orihuela.
It is located 41 kilometers from Alicante to the north, 23 Elche to the northwest and 53 southeast of Murcia. and you can visit them all. The city of Torrevieja has a protected Natural Park with two salt lakes, which represents 55% of the municipality.
It has 20 miles of coast with six great beaches, La Mata, Cabo Cervera, Los Locos, El Cura, The Castaway and Ferris, and scores of coves with an abundance of cliffs. Its climate is temperate continental with mild winters and mild summers, with temperatures ranging between 18 and 25 degrees for most of the year.
In recent years, the city of Torrevieja has become the economic capital of the district of Vega Baja. Its municipal register has 100,000 registered inhabitants, from all over Spain and more than 180 countries, reaching over half a million people residing in the city during the summer months.
The city is a champion of pioneering international projects such as a Relaxation Spa, and the International hall of Music.

PARK OF NATIONS.
Parque de las Naciones.
It is dedicated to the nations of Europe and it has a scale reproduction of the map of the European Continent.
This lies between the road CV-90, the main N-332 coast road, the Calle Villa de Madrid and the ring-road, covering an area of twenty-se thousand square-metres and totally fenced-in. One of the most outstanding features inside is a lake covering six thousand square metres, with six thousand cubic metres of water unfit for drinking, making good use of the special tertiary treatment at Torrevieja's water purifying plant. In it there are geese, ducks, ganders and three thousand coloured carp. The local Mediterranean vegetation is abundant. It also has an animal cage with iguanas and tortoises, and a children’s playground. Also found in the park are the Exhibition rooms "Los Aljibes" which house various art exhibitions which are advertised in programme of the Joaquín Chaparieta Torregrosa Municipal Cultural Institute. There is also an area for playing petanca, and a hermitage dedicated to San Emigdo, the co-patron of Torrevieja and protector from earthquakes and natural phenomena.

Esta se encuentra entre la carretera CV-90, la principal carretera de la costa N-332, la calle Villa de Madrid y la carretera de circunvalación, con una superficie de veinte mil-se metros cuadrados y totalmente vallado. Una de las características más destacadas dentro de un lago que cubren seis mil metros cuadrados, con seis mil metros cúbicos de agua no apta para beber, hacer buen uso del tratamiento terciario especial en la planta de purificación de agua de Torrevieja. En ella hay gansos, patos, gansos y tres mil carpas de colores. El local es abundante vegetación mediterránea. También cuenta con una jaula de animales con iguanas y tortugas, y un parque infantil. También se encuentra en el parque son las salas de exposiciones "Los Aljibes", que la casa varias exposiciones de arte que se anuncian en el programa de la Chaparieta Joaquín Torregrosa Instituto Municipal de Cultura. También hay una zona para jugar a la petanca, y una ermita dedicada a San Emigdo, la co-patrona de Torrevieja y protector de los terremotos y los fenómenos naturales.
