Geocache Description:

One of a series of caches placed by West Midlands cachers, see website for details:

http://wmcaching.co.uk/wmseries/series.html

Gannow Hill , Welsh Frankton, Shropshire is a pseudo fortified house on a hill with a commanding view across the Shropshire Plain.

It seems it is not as "Grand" as it appears, having only 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 reception rooms - although I have been told they are all exceptionally large rooms with very high ceilings. It last changed hands in October 1998 at a cost of £185,000.

To the rear of the property are the old stable buildings which have been converted into separate accomodation.
