Mario McTavish: I came out today to check on these novel caches. Unfortunately most are well past their best.

In some cases the 'novel' aspect of the cache was missing completely meaning that there was no theme to the container. Odd that the theme would disappear but the container remain...

In light of the missing themes and general 'tiredness' of the caches I've decided to archive them.

This is a disguised micro with log. Please bring your own pencil.

We have dedicated this cache to the first book, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, in the great trilogy by Stieg Larson. A real page turner from start to finish.The novel is about the disappearance of a member of the Vanger family. Henrik the retired head of the dynasty hires a journalist to uncover what happened all those years ago. The journalist, Mikael Blomkvist is helped by the enigmatic , delinquent security specialist Lisbeth Salender

The cache is sited just off the road. Please be careful walking on the road and park sensibly if this is done as a cache and dash.

This cache is one of the Novel Cache Series. The series includes a variety of cache sizes, some suitable for TB drops. Some of the cache containers are themed to the books and some are ordinary caches. The terrain in places was very muddy when set in February and unfortunately some of it involves a walk on the road.

Good parking for the series is at the Forestry Commission pay and display car park at GC2PCWW Novel Cache: Ivy Shower, (bear in mind the barrier is locked at night), or next to GC2NHJX Novel Cache: Underground Man or near GC2N2EF Novel Cache Bonus: The Greek Key .
