This cache is part of a series, set around the beautiful area of Bleasdale. The entire series can be done in around 5.5 hours, or it can be split into two circular routes, taking half the time. The walk follows private estate roads which are also public footpaths.
This cache was set containing: a pencil and sharpener (not to be removed), a key ring and a dragonfly. A good container for trackables.
Bleasdale Tower was built in the mid-19th century. The house was designed by William Garnett of Lark Hill, Salford, as a private residence. It has a terraced garden with shrubbery and pine trees.
Bleasdale Tower Gardens Open Days - The gardens are open to the public, 21/5/11 - 22/5/11 and well worth a visit.
There are beautiful open views of Beacon Fell Country Park, Parlick and Fairsnape from here.
