Welcome to “Duck Quackin’, Bush Whackin” Hell! Devil Duck 2 will help you on the quest! He may/may not have a piece of the coords you are looking for. If he does, GREAT! If not, KEEP LOOKING! The Challenge has 19 steps! The 1st part, you're looking for 16 Ducks on bottles. 12 of these have parts of the coords you are looking for. BE SURE WHETHER THE COORDS SAY EAST/WEST, TO BE ABLE TO FINISH THE CHALLENGE! Please be sure & hide these ducks like you found them, so the next Cacher will have fun!
DUCK QUACKIN’, BUSH WHACKIN’ HELL!!
Welcome to Duck Quackin’, Bush Whackin’ Hell! You will learn to appreciate the name by the time you finish this caching series!
This cache series goes all the way around Kirby Lake.
This is a Multi-Cache/Puzzle-Cache series. From start to finish, there are 19 caches. You must find the first 18 to reach the FINAL!! We promise to take you through Hell getting to the Final Cache!
You might/will encounter high weeds, sticky plants and trees, mud and water, hidden bumps/logs/holes, AND slithering, crawling, creepy wildlife while on this hunt through Hell. Remember, this IS West Texas! Not every plant/tree will harm you, but lots of them will with just a touch (Poison Ivy, Mesquite, Cactus, etc.), and the animals/insects belong here, YOU DON’T!! Whether they slither on their bellies, hang from the trees in webs, or run on all fours, they can and do bite! Be careful where you put your hands and feet.
We do make you ONE promise during your trek through Hell. Not ONE cache will be found hiding in cactus!!
Jeans, sturdy shoes, machete, walking stick (for poking/prodding), and a truck or 4x4 are recommended to complete the trek through Hell to reach the final. And in the summer heat of West Texas, you really will think you’re in Hell!! You can choose to walk it, if you like hiking. It’s probably about 2-3 miles hike from start to finish, then you have to get back to your vehicle!
In this series, there are 16 small/micro caches hidden, circling the lake. All of these caches are being guarded by Rubber Duckies! In 12 of these caches, parts of coordinates are included. When you find all of the coordinates, they will lead you to two more caches. Pay attention to whether the partial coordinates you find say EAST or WEST. This is very important to finding the next two caches.
Also in this series are two Ammo Boxes (mentioned above). Find them, figure out the Puzzle within them, get the right coordinates from these caches, and they will lead you to a final cache. There are Rubber Duckies in these caches, too, and they can’t wait to add to your torture in Hell! (Please DO NOT remove any of these Rubber Duckies. They have a very important job to do!)
When you figure out the puzzle the Rubber Duckies are hiding, you will be able to complete the Duck Quackin’, Bush Whackin’ Hell series by finding the Final Cache! The Final Cache holds a special surprise, just waiting for you!
Just remember, we didn’t come by the name of this series lightly!! It WILL be DUCK QUACKIN’ BUSH WHACKIN’ HELL!!!
