Geocache Description:

Thi cache is placed in Ellensburg's Community Renewable Energy Park. It is a metal bucket hid in honor of my dear friend who has an adventurous spirit and says "Yes!" to all the crazy outings I take her on.

This solar electric project began in November 2006. The community has contributed towards this pilot project and also benefits from it. For more information, visit the link included. (visit link)

The cache lies adjacent to I-90, but DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ACCESS THE CACHE FROM THE FREEWAY. You can park at Ellensburg's West Ellensburg Park, the baseball/soccer fields at Rotary Park, or Irene Rhinehart Riverfront Park. These are all family friendly places. You must leave the paved pathway to access this cache. But bikes and jogging strollers can make it very close to the cache. There are many other geocaches in the area to grab as well!

Check out our City of Ellensburg Website for more information on specific activities. (visit link)
And please remember to keep all dogs on leashes and to clean up after them.

"Happy 'Caching!"

Congratulations to Ronger for the first to find! 2/27/2011
