Cache is placed in woodland known as The Coombes. Although the paths/bridleways are well used, they can also be extremely muddy even in the summer.
This cache has been placed in The Coombes as its a great area to walk in especially if you have a dog or children!!
There is parking off Bearwood Road in Coombe Lane. This then becomes a track and is the start of your walk. You can take a lovely circular walk to the cache or just follow your GPS for a shorter walk. There are lots of paths to explore and a handy rope swing along the main track if you have energetic kids. The main track is reguarly used by horses so I expect it would be possible, but difficult with a big wheeled buggy.
We have spent time trying to get good co-ordinates but with the tree cover GPS signals were not reliable. Please feel free to email us if your co-ords seem better than ours.
