Orange County used to be covered in orange orchards and it is just a shame they are gone. It's nice though, that there are areas all over the county where people are growing fruit trees, olive trees, lemon trees, lime trees, persimmon trees, avocado trees, even areas where you can get opuntia cactus fruit to make jam! There are still some areas left where sustenance is accessible to the public.
I don't condone picking fruit from privately owned trees, but its nice to know where some hang onto the public parkway or even grow in public spaces! Not only are there lemons here, but there are avocados across the street if you happen to have your ladder with you! You can almost park right in front of this one, yes it's a red zone, but you will find the cache very quickly. Bring a pen, as there is only room for a log. WATCH FOR SPIDERS ON THIS ONE...GLOVES ARE A GOOD IDEA. Good luck!
CONGRATS TO REBELO2O ON THE FTF!!!
