Short, easy walk from the street.
My first cache...placed in honor of my Dad. Starting as a division
of Crandall Supply in 1941, Arthur Hogan purchased the franchise in
1945. He hired my father Ernest in the spring of 1961 as an
installer of siding, awnings, windows and doors. Arthur's son
Thomas became owner of the business in 1971 and my father worked
for him until retiring in 1999 at the age of 65. My sister Susan
also worked here as the office manager from 1993 to 2004. Business
hours are M-F 8:00am to 4:30pm and Saturday's 8:00am to noon. There
is parking available on the north side of East 47th Street during
business hours and in their (small) parking lot after hours. Placed

Also here is Benchmark MB1684. Corrected coordinates for this
benchmark are N 41° 51.802 W 080° 46.306. According to Google
Earth, the original listed coordinates will take you accross the
street.
