A nice forest preserve to take the dog. This one might require a little walk using deer / human trails and in the end just a little bushwacking...
You are looking for a small lock & lock container.
I don't use a Garmin, Magellan or DeLorme GPS yet - however: my phone has an app that allows for GPS averaging. I averaged about 200 measurements on a cloudy day. Please let me know how the coordinates work for you.
