Have you seen the Billy Goat
The story goes in the 1970's the question of the day on the mountain top was, "Have you seen the goats?" It has been told originally there were two -- a bully and a nanny - that had escaped or been abandoned. Usually they were to be seen on large boulders all around the mountain. The goats, at nighttime, came down to the residences on Miramonte where residents were remarkably tolerant about their browsing on their shrubs and plants. This regimen continued for some time, perhaps for years.
