Welcome to the Easter Cache Dash!! RESULTS are below- thanks for a great event. And Congratulations go to rsgalvan on FTA (First to Arrive).
When: This event will be held on Sunday, April 3rd , 2011 from 10 am - 1pm
Where: Fox Run Park, trail head on Roller Coaster
Here is how this event works.
Adult egg hunt:
You will get into teams of four cachers. Not human people, caching names. In this way you can bring your family without cutting other people short. There are only six slots for cacher teams so book them fast, just tell us in the logs if you will be participating in the egg hunt and who you are going with.

At 10:15 am we will call all of the teams to the table. There will be six folders set out, one for each team. We will tell you to open your folders and you will see a set of coordinates. The coordinates will be different for each team. Plug these into your GPS and race to the location. At this location you find an Easter egg hidden geocache style (in trees, under rocks, the usual). Get your egg and bring it back to the table. Drop your egg in your designated team spot on the table and we will give you another coordinate of an egg. Off you go again. This will be repeated until all eggs have been gathered. Now, a bit of motivation for you and your team. For every two eggs you bring in you get… a Dr Evil (Eppendorf) tube- up to 8 tubes per team!!! After the event is over you can divide your containers up among your teammates. The overall winning team who brings in the most eggs gets… That is classified. The winning team will get to know about that after they win.
Kids egg hunt:
This hunt will be set up in the classic way. The kids will go out into a certain area and find all of the eggs with little candies and other goodies inside.
