Geocache Description:

2nd of wildflowers series in this area. Allow 45-1 hr. to retrieve caches & return 2 cachemobile. Recommend sturdy walking/hiking shoes/boots on the hard packed trail. Desert--take Water!!
Barrel Cactus (Ferocactus cylindraceus): "fierce" cactus due 2 dense, tough spines & large stout statue which is also basis for the name barrel cactus.
