Boat Bay is between Orokawa Bay and Homunga Bay.
A track for the more adventuress person. With great views up and down the coast and out to the Island.
Cross the fence for the best views over Boat Bay.
The track to Homunga Bay continues from the
northern end of Orokawa Bay, skirting along
the coastline past headlands and cliffs. Parts of
the track cross private land, by courtesy of the
owners. Return the same way, or follow a polemarked
track for another 60 minutes, up a
steep climb through farmland to Ngatitangata
Road. For a one-way trip, start here and walk
through to Waihi Beach.
Mind Kids as some big drop off along the track.
