Geocache Description:

Twenty-fourth in a series paying homage to some of our favorite books. This hide is for The Case of the Missing Books by Ian Sansom. I read this quirky book as part of a library school project. Additionally, this cache is hidden for St. Patrick's Day!

Book Jacket: Israel Armstrong is a passionate soul, lured to Ireland by the promise of an exciting new career. Alas, the job that awaits him is not quite what he had in mind. Still, Israel is not one to dwell on disappointment, as he prepares to drive a mobile library around a small, damp Irish town. After all, the scenery is lovely, the people are charming—but where are the books? The rolling library's 15,000 volumes have mysteriously gone missing, and it's up to Israel to discover who would steal them . . . and why. And perhaps, after that, he will tackle other bizarre and perplexing local mysteries—like, where does one go to find a proper cappuccino and a decent newspaper? I also thought it would be awesome to drive a book-mobile! Unfortunately, that is not going to happen any time soon. This cache is football shaped and has tons of swag in it, including a green stick on mustache, a couple pairs of socks, lots of beads, some pencils...you get the point. p.s. And if anyone has any book suggestions, let us know. We are always looking for new books and may even throw a cache out there for you! :)
Congrats to PRanger on FTF
