Please avoid geolitter by removing any remaining traces of your cache or contact a local cacher to do so for you. Geocache Description:

This cache is adjacent to a public footpath rising from Wensley Dale towards Bonsall moor.
Closest parking would be in the viaale square Wensley

The well defined track from Wensley Dale rises towards bonsall moor. As you rise from the dale itself there are excellent views NE towards Chatsworth House and on a clear day a glimpse of Kinder Scout is possible. More to the east you will see the town of Matlock. It is possible to continue past the cache loacation and eventually bear left after crossing serveral styles and link to footpatch for Snitterton and Matlock.Lead mining was the basis of the properties being built in and around Wensley which also has a history linking it to ancient pagan rites. Once height is gained about the cache location is is also possible to pick up the Limestone way, either toward Matlock or west towards the village of Winster.
