A "Flash Mob" Gathering of Geocachers. Only 15 minutes long! You
MUST be present and sign a log sheet DURING this time to claim the
event.
You're heard of MEGA-EVENTS? This is quite the opposite in a
variety of ways.
A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a
public place, do something unusual for a brief period of time, then
quickly disperse.
FLASH MOBS have gathered for other reasons. Come be part of this
historic event!
WWFM (World Wide Flash Mob Event):
Dozens of events all around the world
Thousands of geocachers participating
Coordinated to happen at the same time
To bring together geocachers for a fun and unique even
To introduce others (muggles) to the fun of geocaching
These events will last EXACTLY 15 minutes, not one second
longer.
Tell your friends and help promote the event!
There may be several muggles nearby who will wonder "What did I
just see? What just happened?" (That's part of the fun!)
The Plan
12:00 A horn will sound and the flashing, I mean caching will
begin.
12:01 Grab a log and the meal ( hope your not too hungry?)
12:02 Swap trackables (if you have them) and the standard geo talk
" tell tall tails"
12:09 Hand in Log sheets.
12:10 Group photo
12:13 First to Find Honors will awarded.
12:14 Prepair to leave the area in a flash.
12:15 Leave the park like nothing happened.
