Geocache Description:

River access nearby. Parking is available but not plentiful. Watch your footing.

This cache is hidden near the town of Pence Springs, once a hot spot for travelers visiting the spring. The hotel built for accomodating tourists in the early 1900's was used as a state women's prison in the fifties, sixties, and seventies and now it is used by the Greenbrier Academy for Girls. The small town is now famous for its large flea market held every week in the warm months. All these attractions are within eyesight of the cache!
