Geocache Description:

Within sight the new visitor centre in Apedale Country Park with its two wind turbines. Most of this area is now landscaped and planted to hide the devastation caused by coal extraction.

This is one of several caches in the Silverdale and Apedale parks starting with the name Silver Ape.
