Sequalitchew Creek Trail, part of the City of DuPont open space network, leads from the trailhead to Puget Sound along a rushing creek, through a secluded canyon. Come help us be an explosive force for good to remove invasive plant species, trash and other work projects to improve the watershed and trail. Meet at City Hall Parking lot at 8:30am to fill out volunteer paperwork. Bring work gloves, water, rain gear, gps for caching after the event. Boom!
This trail travels along the old Dynamite train track, which previously would take TNT made at the Old Dupont Powderworks Plant down to the old wharf to be loaded for global transport for use in the Panama Canal, AlCan, WWI & WWII and more.
