Geocache Description:

General Wade - Series 2 - cache 5

The cache is a lock and lock plastic sandwitch container with a log book, pencil and stuff.

Approaching from the west, leave the forestry road as it heads for the A9, and walk straight ahead - follow the little arrow on the sign post, through the trees. The ground is a bit boggy and there are a couple of wind blown trees fallen across the track, but these can be readily crouched under and or jumbled over (not easy on a bike but there again not impossible). Approaching from the east is over open moor land that can be boggy in places.

Follow the line of the fence to find the cache.

Micro Fact File

After the Battle of Culloden, Lady Anne was arrested and turned over to the care of her mother-in-law for a time. She later met the Duke of Cumberland at a social event in London with her husband. He asked her to dance to a pro-Government tune and she returned the favour by asking him to dance to a Jacobite tune. She died in 1787.

Special note: Please do not cross into areas where there are warning signs and barriers up during harvesting times.
