This cache is hidden on the old disused Crombie to Cairneyhill Road which was replaced several years ago by the current road which runs to the east of this location. The cache forms the first or last in the series (depending which way you chose) in the Carineyhill to Torryburn trail.
The trail will take you through woodland that runs next to the Torry burn. Beware though as you will follow a narrow path further along that has steep sides with a long drop on one side. During the winter months the path can be muddy and slippy, so adequate footwear is advised. There are many choices of parking, but may I suggest Adia Road (N 56'03.451 W 003'33.757) where you should see a small opening into the woods.
Cache is a small canister
