Geocache Description:

You are looking for an ammo can tethered to a tree about four feet up.

The best side to enter GZ is from the old Omar Street, there is a faint social path going right to the tree where the cache is hidden.

Be kind to the next cacher by trading swag even or trading up (don't take something unless you leave something of equal or greater value); we also like to read what trade items you took & left so if you include that in your log too, that would be great!

This park was once a suburban neighborhood but periodic and severe flooding of the Cibolo Creek finally caused all of the homes to be damaged beyond reasonable repair and the property condemned. In October of 1998, Hurricane Madeline brought torrential rainfalls from the Pacific-side of Mexico up into south central Texas causing some of the heaviest flooding in recent history which was the last nail or one of the last nails in the coffin of this neighborhood. The City of Schertz became the owner and made the neighborhood into a park / nature area.
