While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

When repairs to this cache are completed, and it is time to have it listed once again it will be no problem as long as it still meets the guidelines. Just drop me a note( by email at Mongo@geocachingadmin.com) and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your “My Cache Page” and clicking the link of your cache.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and I am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thanks for your understanding,
Mongo

Geocache Description:

A cache placed along a waterway in Forest Park. From the cache, you can often see ducks swimming in the water.

2-15-13 Update- Some cachers don't understand the notion of a difficult cache and have moved it from the good, difficult hiding location to a much more boring spot. Have adjusted the terrain rating.

Forest Park is the largest park located in a major city in the united states. Within its 1,293 acres, there are many museums and monuments, but also wild forests and tranquil waterways. This cache is placed along a tranquil waterway near the grand basin. In the spring, summer, and fall, runners, bikers, joggers, boaters, and walkers all go by near this location, but few get off the gravel path and walk to the water's edge. From the banks of the waterway, you can see the cattails and reeds growing in clusters. You can hear the buzzing of the insects in the grass and see ducks swimming by in the water.

Enjoy searching for this cache, take a break and relax beneath the shady trees here.

When you've found the cache, you may realize a couple of the meanings to the name.

Please push the cache back in its crevice so it is accessible but not visible. If it's visible, it could get muggled for the 4th time.

3-11-2011 Update: I realized soon after I placed it that there is a letterbox in the area. The letterbox is labeled clearly on the top, "Official Letterbox". The letterbox and cache are in very different spots. There shouldn't be any confusion between them.

6-16-2012 Update- *IMPORTANT*
This cache has been muggled three times so I did something very different. I placed it where it's only accessible by water. You'll need a boat or kayak to get it. You can bring your own boat or rent one. I cannot endorse any companies here, but do a little research and you'll find out where you can rent.

Also, I suppose you can wade through the water, but that's not what I intended.

2-15-13- Sadly that ^^ idea didn't work. Lazy cachers moved the cache somewhere much easier. I will replace when it gets a little warmer.
