A small Cache in a little known Public Park in Windsor near the Race Course
This 3.9 Hectare Park to the south of Windsor Racecourse was originally the site of a 15th Century Manor house, once owned by Daniel Gooch Locomotive Superintendant of the GWR and M P for Cricklade 1865-1885.
In 1955 the site was sold to Developers who built 60 Houses and in 1957 the Allotment association took over 1/3 of the remaining land.
Finally in 1975, the Council acquired the remainder and turned it into a Public open space.
Initially, the Cache contains a Log & Pencil + a few small swaps and a FTF prize of a Finding Nemo compressed face flannel .
