Very nice hat Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

VinceHayter: As I suspected, this one left again, presumably with the Christmas decorations that were put up. I think there is great potential for a cache in this location, but what I was doing obviously was not working. If someone else wants to take a crack at it, I'd love to see what else could go here (and survive the maintenance crews). Otherwise, if something else comes to me I may try something different later on...

In the meantime, I've created a Sighter find here in case anyone follows that smartphone location based game.

Thank you to everyone who visited; the logs for this one amused me.

Geocache Description:

This is the third of a short series of caches that are based on anagrams of an element common to each. It's been a long while since I've placed an anagram cache and while there are probably much better names for this hide, I figured this one fit.

The container for this cache is one that fits with an idea I've been wanting to try for a while and if it holds up in this location I may have a more interesting use for something similar later. It's something that will seem out of place to anyone with geosenses but isn't likely to raise any suspicions. On the other hand, I could see a novice cacher needing a bit of time before seeing the cache for what it is. The cache only contains a log sheet so be sure to bring along a writing utensil. Tweezers are also highly recommended.

The location is a tiny (very) 'park' which I have never seen anyone visit. I pass by here almost every day and have always wondered why it was here and had always assumed it was a small war memorial of some sort. Recently I stopped by and found that it was actually a memorial to various residents of Southern Anne Arundel County. Intrigued to see if the park is as overlooked as I thought I placed a plain sight cache here to see what would happen. My theory is that the presence of visitors stopping in the park would garner more attention than the cache itself. To that end, some stealth will very likely be necessary (or at least felt necessary) when going after this cache. Don't bother checking the plants because the cache is not there. Check the attributes and the hint to allow your visit to be as stealthy as possible.

Good luck!
