The L.O.S.T. group would like to invite you to a very special
event on Saturday May 21, 2011 from 5pm to 8pm or whenever the
evening ends.
At the event, we will be grilling the meal plus supplying the
drinks. Please feel free to bring a side dish if you would like. We
will be eating from 5 PM to ending.
Also at 5 PM, for those that really want to have fun, a Zip Line
Canopy Tour is being organized.
The Zip Line Canopy Tour is a series of cables and platforms
between 40 and 60 feet off of the ground. Participants will be
harnessed to a pulley that rides the cable and will "zip" from
platform to platform through the "canopy" of trees through which
the course is built. There are 5 zip lines, with a combined length
of over 1400 feet! Additionally, in the middle of the course, there
is a "cat walk" (a narrow bridge with walls, that spans approx 70
feet). Participants will walk across the bridge to reach the next
part of the course.
For those who do not wish to participate on the canopy tour, you
will be able to watch the action, and take pictures if you
like.
