Welcome to The Spaded Series, containing 59 caches between 'Small' and 'Regular' size; arranged and hidden to form an aerial spade.
This is not a 'floatable' series. Please do not move/alter any of the geocaches. We hope you enjoy your day exploring and caching in the Mojave Desert, and always remember to tread lightly.
THIS IS NOT A POWER TRAIL! It is a hiking trail. If you are not interested in hiking, do not attempt this series. There are dirt roads that you may use to get closer such as Power Line Road. Park there and start walking. DO NOT MAKE YOUR OWN ROADS OR FOLLOW THE FAINT TRACKS OF OTHERS THAT HAVE DONE SO! There is A LOT of soft sand in this area, a 4x4 is recommended.
DO NOT MAKE YOUR OWN TRAILS! While placing this series we encountered the largest desert tortoise we've ever seen, please be aware that this is one of their few remaining habitats, and it is against the law to touch them, even if you mean well.
This series is located across the highway from the "Presidential Power Trail" and is within 30 miles of the impressive "Trona Power Trail".
