Geocache Description:

"The Way of Peace" Sculpture on the Israeli/Egyptian border.

Danny Karavan created this Peace Sculpure from 1995 - 2000. It spreads over 3 km in length from the ancient town of Nitzana to the Israel/Egyptian border at Tze'elim. It includes100 pillars -each with "Peace" written in another language. There are 30 meters between each column which are made to look like sandstone.

The first pillars are in Hebrew and Arabic and the following pillars are in languages of the first people who passed through this area - languages such as Hitit and Babylonian. The other pillars have peace written in modern day languages from around the world.
