You can park on Ivy Mill Road at 39º 27.693; 76º 52.396. At first there is no path. Then becomes a dirt road.
You will find an ammo container chockful of goodies. The coordinates for the second part are on the container. Part II is an aluminum pill fob (micro) with only log paper inside.
I saw Frank Zappa at a rock festival at the Bowie Racetrack. But he meant more to a girlfriend, who said he saved her life. (His weirdness puts hers in perspective.) Part I is quite normal: hike, find, sign, swap, collect trash on the way back.
Perhaps only Zappa-lovers should go to the trouble of looking for the second part. Ask yourself, "If Frank Zappa had a fraternity, would I want to be initiated?"
As the ADC Baltimore County Atlas shows, the reservoir land is only a narrow, steep band by the water's edge in some places.
Even if the farmers atop of the hill didn't have guns and a camoflagued nylon blind by the bales, you should always stay on the downhill side of the fence line.
Do enjoy the views of the reservoir and the chance to explore the dirt roads and paths that often lead right to the water.
