Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
A mischievous wee little Leprechaun from Tipperary, Ireland, has placed a bit of his gold in a cache for safe keeping. Your job is to find it!
You will need 2 different types of extraction tools for this little number so take your whole bag of tricks! If we told you more than that, the Leprechaun would be very upset with us and might take away one of our 3 wishes (see below).
The sign says the park is open from 5:00 am - 11:00 pm and that the times are enforced. :-( But there is only one sign and it is not where the cache is. :-)
Please put the cache back so that it remains nearly invisible.
We averaged the coordinates over 9 minutes with some variety in our readings. If you find it and have different coordinates, please either indicate in your log or via email to TeamPumpJack.

If you are going on this hunt, you want to know a few things about Leprechauns. You can do your own research or you can skim the following facts taken from Wikipedia and eHow. The rest of this description does not contain information related to the physical cache.
-------------
Leprechaun facts (From Wikipedia (visit link) ):
Leprechauns usually take the form of an old man, about the height of a small child (2').
Their favorite pass time is practical jokes and mischief of all sorts. {CO Note: Sounds like a geocacher!}
Leprechauns earn their treasure (gold) by making shoes for elves. If you listen closely, you can sometimes hear their tiny hammers hammering in shoe nails.
They keep their gold in a hidden pot at the end of the rainbow. {CO Note: Sounds like a geocache!}
There are no reports of female Leprechauns. They are the offspring of the combination of an evil spirit and a degenerate fairy. They are not wholly good or evil. Hence, they are very mischievous and love to laugh!
Although Leprechauns wear green now, they used to wear red also. We'll stick with green.
If you catch a Leprechaun, he has the magical ability to grant you 3 wishes in exchange for his release.

From eHow:
When you do catch a Leprechaun, there is an additional option. Rather than the 3 wishes, you could compel him to give you his pot of gold but this must be done following some very strict guidelines:
1. Listen for the sound of his hammer. Leprechauns are often busy making a shoe (and only one shoe) for an elf.
2. Sneak up on the Leprechaun. Hopefully, he will be absorbed in his work and will not hear you.
3. Hold on to the Leprechaun and don't let go. Expect him to put up a pretty good fight, even if he is only about 2 feet tall.
4. Keep your eyes on the Leprechaun. He will do anything to get you to look away for a second. If you do, he will disappear into the mist, and his pot of gold is safe.
5. Threaten him if he is especially resistant to telling you where the pot of gold is hiding.
6. Make the Leprechaun take you to his pot of gold. You should find it at the end of the rainbow.
