Geocache Description:

Parking is available at the end of Hodney Road N 52° 36.656 W 000° 12.398. Careful when crossing the road as the cars can come pretty quickly around the bend. There is a direct route to this cache along a disused road (suitable for a buggy), however I recommend a nice walk through Dogsthorpe Star Pit, just to the left as you cross the road.

Dogsthorpe Star Pit is is an old brick pit that was excavated to produce clay. It has since developed into an important wildlife site. As you approach the cache site you will have a spectacular view of the new Carr Dyke Bridge.
