Cella Trichora Mystery Cache

A Cella Trichora ókeresztény sírkápolna, a IV. századból származik. Ez az egyik legrégebbi, kereszténységgel kapcsolatos építmény Budapest területén. A maradványokból is jól látható a háromkaréjos terű kápolna jellege.

A Cella Trichora romjai mellett a katonaváros korábbi épületmaradványai láthatók.

Az építmény régészeti emlék, műemléki védelem alatt áll.

Tudtad, mi minden történt a IV. században, amikor ez a kápolna épült? Íme néhány említésre méltó esemény a IV. századból:

Cella Trichora is an early Christian graveyard from the 4th century. It is one of the oldest buildings related to Christianity in the area of Budapest. The remains clearly show the clover-leaf design of the chapel.

Next to Cella Trichora you can find the remains of earlier soldier camp buildings.
