A yardang is a streamlined hill carved from bedrock or any
consolidated or semiconsolidated material by the dual action
of wind abrasion, dust and sand, water or deflation.
This little out cropping of rock gave a great view of the
ocean along the California coast. I sat here for hours watching the waves crash along the beach and decided I would bring other cacher's here.
The climb up could be difficult for some but i climbed it
barefoot.
The top of the Yardang is flat and has room for 2 or 3 people
but stay away from the edges the are eroding away and you could slip off.
I will make this easy for all so you dont have to do the
cacheing wonder. Sit in the middle of the rock and look around. the camo is common to this area and is the only one on this mound.
The Container is too small for a pen so don't forget to bring your own.
