Geocache Description:

This is a nanocache, so bring your own writing utensil, and log extraction device.

The cache is located on the Grand Illinois Bike Path that was completed in the late 1990's. Recently this bridge has been dedicated in honor of former Mayor Gene Flack that was instrumental in bringing the bike trail to Savanna. The cache is NOT located on or near the tracks, please use the bike path.

Once you find the center of the diamond, take 8 steps north to find the cache. (No baby steps)

The Diamond is where the ICE and BNSF double tracks cross each other. They cross at an angle thus forming a diamond shape.

The bike path can be very busy, so watchout for muggles.
