Not sure about the dog fouling issue, as the place where the cache was hidden was covered in ivy and not a really a stable place for a dog to take aim, or for a dog walker to leave a bag.
As regards the clue, it's not that hard is it? If you've visited GC2Q64A or read the text, then it's not exactly a quantum leap. It's called a hint for a reason
