Geocache Description:

Camouflaged Baby Soda Bottle

My personal goal is to hide about one cache every month of caching. As such I was in search of durable cache containers recently and bought a couple of baby soda bottles online.

You are looking for a large, camouflaged thick-walled unbreakable plastic test tube with a logsheet and a pen. Nothing fancy - urban area. The cache container is called "Baby Soda Bottle" (also known as PET-Preform, PET-Rohling, PETling) because its home is actually in the bottling industry. At the bottling plant, the tubes are placed into a vacuum mold and heated so they soften. Hot air is then blown into the tube, stretching the warmed plastic to 40 times its original size to become a 2-liter soda bottle. When the plastic cools into the shape of the mold, the bottle is ready to fill with your favorite refreshing drink.
