Duck! Traditional Cache
Treehaven Trekkers: Duck! was tons of fun especially for the little kids but the locaiton is too easily muggled and was vandalized several times. Good memories-- time to let it go.

Small camo'd container containing rubber duck themed goodies. Kid friendly cache is along the Lake Helene walking path in a great area for spotting waterfowl and listening to birdsong.
There are well planned walking paths in the neighborhood so please don't cut through residents' yards. We've tried to make finding the cache kid friendly so be alert for muggles when you find and replace the ducks! For cachers who have been here previously, the ever-so-clever anti-muggle combination lock didn't work and the cache was compromised again. We've made cache box a bit smaller to help the hide. Please be discrete and slip the box back in it's spot. We keep replacing it because of positive feedback for having a not-too-hard cache for kids in the neighborhood. It will be less exposed when the foliage is out.
Three good starting places:
Option 1: N 39 7.149, W 77 14.499; path down near the Firehouse Ln crosswalk
Option 2: N 39 7.312, W 77 14.510; steps down by crosswalk sign on Thurgood
Option 3: N 39 7.328, W 77 14.450; path down off Midtown between Chestertown and Thurgood.
