It's time for the annual Pocono's Easter Egg Hunt. This event, which was first started by Unimoggers, is being hosted by Stellar Jr again this year. The event will take place in Brodhead Park, (Route 191 just north of Stroudsburg) and will begin at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 9, 2011.
Stellar Bunny and some helpers will be at the park very early hiding hundreds and hundreds of easter eggs. Some might even have special prizes in them or coordinates to some new caches that will be placed in and around the area.
The event begins at Noon and the Egg Hunt will begin at 12:15 PM sharp. Be sure you're on time, as last year's egg hunt was over in less than 2 minutes.
There will also be a raffle for both kids and adults and a game of guess how many jellybeans in the jar. The Easter Bunny also told me that a few new geocaches were just hidden in the area and are waiting for you to find them. Some of the eggs might contain coordinates to the new caches.
Please let us know how many kids and adults are in your group when you log the event. Also, you might want to keep this event on your watchlist for event updates and information on the weather. Hope to see everyone soon!
