This cache was placed to celebrate our shared FTF of “GC2Q8JD.” and our discovery of a new lake tonight.
WOW… a new caching trail to an area we never knew about before. This geo-cache is placed on the Road to Hoover Lake. We hope that the placement of this cache will encourage others to come out and explore the area.
This Cache container was a gift that we decided to place in order to “keep em’ comin”.
You'll be looking for a sandwich sized “Lock "n" Lock” container.
A sign at the parking area, located quite high on a tree indicates the trail to Hoover Lake is a 3 km logging road plus a .7 km trail.
Hoover Lake trail is a hiking only trail and is rated as moderate to strenuous. Please keep to the marked trail. You will be hiking up a active logging road and it is highly recommended that vehicles stay at the parking area on Dewdney Trunk Road. Although you may find the gate open, it can be closed at any time without notice.
Please hike only and rehide cache container as you found it.
