The cache is located in a lovely little wood on the south side of Ware. During the Spring some areas of the wood are carpeted in beautiful blue bells that definitely make it worth visiting around April time.
Adjacent to the woods are some playing fields with several football pitches which are regularly used by various local teams at weekends, in particular on Saturday mornings when the car park can be full to the point that cars are parking down Walnut Tree Walk.
Note that the wood is a popular area for dog walkers so beware of Muggles.
If journeying by car I suggest you park at the car park at the bottom of Walnut Tree walk – co-ordinates for the car park are N 51deg 47.905, W 000 deg 01.779. Alternatively (for example on Saturday mornings in football season), there’s normally parking to be found near the junction of Postwood Road and Presdales Drive.
