Bunjil: I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

             - Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
             - No response from the cache owner.
             - No cache to find or log to sign.
             - It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
             - Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Geocache Description:

A great little park on the shores of Lake Hamilton that my Geokids used to call the Rainbow Park as the slides are different colours. This bit is called Helen's Park in honour of philanthropist Helen Handbury. This park was officially opened by Helen and Geoff Handbury on November 13 1997.

Alternatively for the slightly older kids, there is the skate park only metres away.

Finally is the grown up section. The Sir Reginald Ansett Musuem which is the original hanger from when Sir Reg started Ansett Airlines. When the airport was moved from Pedrina Park to Hensley Park 10kms out of Hamilton, the hanger was taken to Ansett Motors which is now Grangeburn Holden where it was used as the service shed for the buses and cars in the Ansett fleet. When Blood Holden took over from Ansett Motors, the hanger was gifted to the Ansett Museum where it now stands.

The museum is pretty interesting with a Focker passenger plane and Studebaker car that Sir Reg got his Empire going with...well they aren't the ACTUAL vehicles but they are the same year and models and the museum is stoked to have them.

If you are hungry, there is BBQ facilities and a fish & chip shop across the way. Heaps of room for parking too if you are touring through with the Caravan or Camper and there are loos for if you have been holding on for a while getting to Hamilton...

Please use caution and stealth when accessing this cache as it is a very busy location with muggles of all shapes and sizes frequenting the area.
