Do geese see God? Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

billrow: My geocaching activity, both for searching and hiding, has reduced greatly over the last year or so, as I just have other interests taking over. I'm having trouble keeping up with maintenance on all of my hides, and it's not fair to have people working to solve puzzles, only to find the cache is gone. :-( So I am enforcing a new rule: all of my caches that are over five years old, and haven't been found for over a year, will be archived. So it's farewell to this one!

Geocache Description:

The cache is not located at the posted coordinates.

After you have pondered the deep philosophical question posed in the title (and perhaps have an idea of what it has to do with this cache), here is your challenge:

Find the locations of the posted coordinates for the nine caches listed below. You should see a logical way to put them into three groups of three. The three points in each group will form a triangle on the map. (I know... ANY three points anywhere in the universe will form a triangle, but I wanted to make it clear what you need to do.) Find the point at the center of each triangle, either by drawing, eyeballing, doing some math... whatever works for you. Within no more than about 300 feet from each of those points, there is a location with a very unique number pattern to the coords, and that characteristic is shared by all three, as well as by the posted coords for THIS cache.

Once you have found those three unique sets of coords, just add up the decimal portions of the three North coords, and add that result to the posted North coords for this cache; then do the same for the West coords. From that location you will need to go half the length of a football field due south, heeding the words of Bill Engvall.

I MESSED UP!!!

After solving the puzzle, please subtract 0.032 from the West coords of your solution, then make the distance adjustment specified. Very sorry about that!!
