Protect Our Trails Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wizard of Ooze: Hello,
I’m a volunteer reviewer for geocaching.com. In a routine check of area caches, I see that your cache has been missing for an extended period of time. The geocaching guidelines include a section on disabled caches: http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235

Cache owners can temporarily disable a listing, which will take a cache page offline for a short time. Do this if the cache needs repairs, or if the area is closed for a period of time (construction, hunting, winter closures, etc.) This is meant to be temporary, which means a few days, weeks or months.

A listing which is disabled for an extended period may be archived by a reviewer, unless there is some explanation on the listing. If you decide not to replace a missing cache, please archive the listing.

I’ve archived your listing to make way for new, active caches to be placed. If you would like to resubmit a new cache at the location, please feel free to do so and it will be reviewed according to the current geocaching guidelines.

Thank you for your contribution to geocaching,

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Quick 3 stage multi along another hidden path in beautiful sooke. First two stages are small twist lock containers. Final is a medium lock n lock.

Whenever we go out to find geocaches, we always try to walk as much as possible. Some of out favorite walks have been down to Ed Mcgregor Park, and Whiffin Spit. Along our way we stumbled upon this wonderful connecting trail close to home. Now nearly everytime we go out wether for a coffee at a local shop, or for our ongoing caching adventures this trail will always be travelled. Whenever we can we try to cache in trash out to protect our trails and parks, and we encourage everyone to do the same.

To protect these trails we have hired protectors at each of the stages. Make sure when opening you dont startle them or they might jump out and bite. At each stage is your "coupon" to the next. Please make sure to only record what you need and leave the coupon for the next cacher.

The path from stage 2 to the final can at times be VERY muddy. Proper footwear is recommended and is why the terrain rating is higher. We decided to hide the final off this muddy trail as it is less likely to be used my muggles.

**Thanks for the correction of the final hint from ljg-47**
