Geocache Description:

Out at the highest point along the fibre optic line, a viewpoint overlooks the McQueen Creek Valley and grasslands.

Bluebunch wheatgrass is the native grass to the upper grasslands in the area. It is a perennial grass that tolerates drought, shade, forest, sagebrush, and light grazing.
It can be distinguished by noting the 90 degree awns sticking out from the stem, which are often bluish in color.
From the cache, most of the grasslopes in sight are covered in bunchgrass.
