I had the idea for this whilst at the Park with my Geokids.
Sometimes they like Geocaching other times they don’t, so I thought if I took them to a park to wear them out, then they couldn’t object to me looking for a cache whilst there!
I hope you enjoy the series and you are more than welcome to add to it, as has successfully been done with other series, like Shropshire Church Gems!
I like this park as there is a lovely Bandstand in the centre of a landscaped garden with ample free parking, tennis courts, childrens play area and large field to exercise the geohound or play football on.
The main gates to the park are dedicated as The Oakengates War Memorial with the market town of Oakengates being a five minute walk away with some lovely shops to visit.
Stealth may be required as there are sometimes muggles about!
This cache is a small clip n lock container with a log book and 5 or six small swaps.
Please can you hide it as well or better than you found it.
