It's time for MAGPIs first CITO Event!

We will be taking care of the MCTrail and the Meredith Tunnel.

Taken from the MCPARC website:
MCTRAIL, starting near Prickett's Fort and ending at the corner of Winfield Street and Morgantown Avenue, offers 2.5 miles of the converted railway property for walkers, joggers, and bikers with connecting trails to Prickett's Fort State Park and the future trail to Morgantown. Its name is an adopted form of "Marion County Trail".

Location: The posted coordinates are for the meeting place, the parking lot for the rail trail located next to Pricketts Fort.
Date: Sunday, May 1st, 2011
Time: Meet between 9:30 and 10 AM to sign in and get organized.

At that time we will shuttle everyone to the other end of the trail and start the clean-up heading back to the parking area.
Look forward to an easy 2.5 mile walk along a paved level trail.

Please wear proper clothing and boots.
Please bring work gloves.

After we return to the parking area there will be hamburgers and hotdogs along with small snack bags and water.
If you would like to bring a side dish to share, please feel free.

UPDATE: We are moving the after cleanup meet and greet to a very nearby picnic area located at N 39 30.854 W080 06.023

If you plan on attending please post how many will be with you and what, if anything, you might be bringing.

This event is being held with the approval and assistance of Marion County Parks and Recreation Commission.
