This series forms a circular walk from one nature reserve to another. There are also a couple of drivebys for those of us who like an easy option! Paths are well marked, the Lynx path part is mainly grass with a few stiles, the cycle path along the river as far as Brickfield Pond has been newly resurfaced and is suitable for wheelchairs and prams. Sadly you do cross a busy main road at one point so please take care with geo-kids and geo-pups!

Lynx River Circular 5- Too Wet For Trolls

The Lynx path is new this year and connects the prom in Rhyl to the prom in Prestatyn via the inland sites of Brickfield Pond and Bruton Park. It covers fields and country lanes which many people visiting the area miss out on. If you are out for the day it makes sense to park at the unresticted listed co-ordinates and follow the caches in numerical order. The whole series is about 4 miles but its all flat! The listed parking is next to a watering hole and eatery, a new mini nature reserve (with its own caches of course!) and there is also the option of a bed for the night if you get carried away. There are several other excellent series in the area if youd like to make a day of it. Notably in the Brickfield Pond area and in Rhuddlan village. From Lynx River Circular 4 continue across fields, past new development then turn left towards bridge.
