This is a replacement for Squan-Two. On State Park property, not Boy Scout property.
Squan-two was removed by the BSA Ranger this winter, because he felt it conflicted with the official BSA Geocache type hides on the property. The area still means a lot, as half of Team Hosss63 has spent a lot of time at the BSA camp, with many happy memories, so I wanted it close enough for other Scouts to enjoy.
The cache involves a little bushwhacking off a well marked and used fire road. You are looking for a large ammo box.
Initial cache goods include my first TB, Hosey's Monkey Fist, some other TBs, some US Army glow sticks and little army men, and assorted swag that was left from Squan-Two.
Thanks to Leonides Tri for the TB I got for ChristmaKwanSolctiBirthdaNakkah this year, and the Box o' Knots that gave me the idea for the Monkeys Fist, and Creepy Uncle Bouve for the ammo box & glowsticks. Add a champagne bottle, and we have our regular camping hijinks..
Please wear ORANGE during hunting season! I found shotgun shells in the area!
