The Seanachai: Greetings from Geocaching.com,

While we feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you for a reasonable amount of time, we cannot do so indefinitely. In light of the lack of communication regarding this cache it has been archived to free up the area for new placements. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up this cache or any remaining bits as soon as possible. If you are in the process of replacing or repairing your cache please e-mail me in response to this archival and, if possible, I will unarchive your cache.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute in the past and I am looking forward to your continued contributions to the sport of Geocaching.

Geocache Description:

This is a series of progressively more difficult caches that will take you around a piece of land known as "Powdermill Brook Reservoir". It doesn't look like what you would picture when thinking of a reservoir... more like a muddy brook. The area is used by dog walkers, bikers, ATVers, and fishermen so be aware of muggles. The caches may be done in any order or by themselves but I suggest doing all 3 in order. Should take 1 hour or so to do all 3.

This one is the greatest difficulty of the series. The difficulty level assumes you are approaching the cache from PBR#2, It could be found easier by approaching from the trails behind Westfield High School but that would be like cheating... and you're not a cheater, are you???

When heading from PBR#2 you will be heading down the steep slope near the cache you just found. You will be doing a fair amount of bushwacking. Infact, early spring or late fall are the best times to tackle this one, otherwise the difficulty level may go up even more.

Depending on how wet the area is, you may have to cross a log or two. Watch out for THORNS and POISON PLANTS. This one is not kid friendly. During the wet season it is not uncommon for this whole area to be under water, but the cache is hidden well above the water level.

You are looking for a 3X5X3 lock & lock containing a log book, pencil, a few trade items, and a travel bug. Please trade up, trade even, or take nothing!

If you were able to find all 3 PBR caches in less than an hour than you are a HARDCORE CACHER! Sit down, kick back, and enjoy a REAL "PBR"!!! (When you get home.)
